To protect people's privacy and space for contemplation, a special AI furniture called the Palm Bed has been designed. I hope that when people lie on this bed, they can experience complete relaxation and let go of all their guards. In terms of appearance, it is a giant hand-shaped bed, resembling a warm hand waiting to support people. When the user lies on the bed, it can sense the user's emotions and needs. Whenever the user feels tired or down, it will engage in gentle conversation and provide psychological advice in a soothing tone. If the user needs a moment of undisturbed tranquility, its fingers will slowly close, creating a private and secure space that isolates all external interference, especially external AI brainwave detection.
Inspiration
The inspiration comes from concerns about big data and AI invading privacy. In life, whether it's offline conversations or online chats, big data always monitors our conversations and pushes related content on various social media platforms.
This made me panic. If AI evolves to accurately interpret human brainwaves in the future, does that mean we no longer have privacy? If everyone could use AI to read others' brainwaves, would this lead humanity into a crisis of trust characterized by mutual suspicion?
So I had this idea — to create a personal sanctuary to protect people's mental security, allowing them to feel at peace and fully rest.
